GETTING HERE

Bonsall Camp is in the beautiful and quiet village of Bonsall and is a little off the beaten track. Although you can use public transport to get here (see links below), the easiest way by far is to drive, and there is plenty of parking space on site.

By Car: Travel along the A6 towards the village of Cromford. From there turn on to the A5012 Via Gellia, follow the road for 0.5miles and then take a right at The Pig of Lead Guest House up a steep hill towards Bonsall. Follow the road until you reach the cross then go left. Drive for another 0.3 miles to a very steep turnoff on the left. This is Uppertown Lane. The camp is 400 ft up this road.

By Bus: There is only one bus service to Bonsall, you will need to ask for the Uppertown stop. Click here for the timetable.

By Train: From your location you will need to get a train to Derby. Then from Derby to Matlock. Click here for the timetable. You will then need to catch the bus to Bonsall.
